I got my mission call!!! WEST INDIES! I thought I would write a blog as I start my journey and prepare to serve! I am so excited to serve the Lord and the people of West Indies. I report to the Provo MTC on January 2nd. I thought it would be fun to write a blog about what I have learned and my progress over the next 4 months. Google is my new best friend, I have learned a lot and am excited to experience it first hand.
My mission will include the counties of St. Martin, Guadeloupe, Martinique, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana.
I thought it would be fun to take one country at a time and learn and post about what I may expect in that country.
I'm so excited to start this journey and ready for the challenge. I am so thankful to have a testimony of this gospel. I feel so privileged and humbled that my Heavenly Father trust me to serve these people.
Stay tuned and learn with me about a place I will call home for 18 months!
CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is amazing that you get to serve the Lord for a year and a half! You will learn much as you serve the Lord and His people. I hope it is everything and then some for ya, and enjoy that precious time with the Lord each day. Enjoy the journey! You will be in my prayers!

I am so excited for you! What an amazing idea to start your adventure this way and let the rest of us join you! My heart is filled with gratitude for the love and tender mercies the Lord has shown to me and having you as family is a huge part. The people in the West Indies will be inspired by your kind heart and happy spirit...get used to these words, Sis, Taylor, you are awesome!
